Celebrate your child’s special day with our creative birthday parties at Dartmoor Makers! Our art, craft and pottery parties are designed to bring joy and spark imagination while giving every child something they’re proud to take home and treasure from their special day.

Creative Party Projects We Offer
We have a growing menu of creative projects, suitable for different ages and interests. Popular options include:
- Pottery Making: pinch-pot animals, mugs, monsters, tiles, mini planters
- Clay Sculpting: themed characters, fantasy creatures, nature-inspired creations
- Art & Craft Projects: mask making, collage artworks, printmaking, textured plaques, mini canvas painting
- Seasonal Crafts: nature mobiles, clay ornaments, garden markers, festive decorations
- Personalised party theme: We can also tailor the project to suit your child’s interests — from dinosaurs and unicorns to dragons, ocean animals or their favourite book or film theme. Just tell us what they love and we’ll design something special.
During The Party
Party Structure
Parties last one and a half hours and include all materials and work to take home. We begin with a relaxed introduction to the project and a look at some simple techniques before diving into the main make — popular projects include pinch-pot animals, mugs, monsters, tiles or mini planters. Activities are suitable for mixed ages and abilities.
Age Range
Perfect for children aged 5+, with activities adapted for younger or older groups.
Group Size
We can comfortably host up to 10 children.
Decorations
We will decorate the room for you! You’re also welcome to bring your own decorations which you can put up ahead of the session.Â
Pricing
A creative party costs £150 for one and a half hours for up to ten children. The Common Room upstairs can be hired for an additional £30 to be used during the session and up to an hour after the session. This room can be used as a social space during the party and for a special celebration with food and drink after the party.
